Corporate Video Production by Blue Sky Film & Media for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust = Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire.

This heritage sector video was ┬áproduced as both a fundraising campaign video and as a general promotional video to trail the opening of the re-development of Shakespeare’s New Place.

Shakespeare lived at New Place for the last 19 years of his life, until he died there in 1616. The house itself was demolished in the 18th Century, but the site where it stood is now held by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.

To marke the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, the trust are now working on a creative and inspiring reinterpretation of the site,t o be opened to the public in April 2006.

Teaching Shakespeare Video – Primary Schools

Educational video produced for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust’s, Shakespeare Week, a nationwide initiative to introduce Shakespeare to primary school aged children and their families.

The video was produced as part of a range of engaging resources available to families in libraries across the UK during Shakespeare Week. Taking Shakespeare’s viewpoint as a boy, this fictional piece makes the link between everyday childhood experience and the potential for its use as a source of inspiration for writing.
